Great Idea ... Abandon Your Art as a Gift to Others!

Evidently this isn't a new idea, but it is an idea that is newly catching on with thousands in the world of artists who create in many mediums!

It involves abandoning ones art in public places for another to take and enjoy. The art you'd make could be as simple or elaborate as you'd like..from images drawn on a napkin, to actually painting, or sculpture or jewelry, etc.

Artist Michael deMeng spoke of it on his blog, and has created a facebook group called Art Abandonment where artists can join and then share photos and comments of the art they have left for others.  What a cool way to bless someone, anonymously.

I hope to leave something from time to time in our area too... maybe as soon as today!

Check out Michael's blog and the facebook site too for ideas in how to go about doing this, and then sharing it with others.

NOTE OF INTEREST (well, to me, maybe not to others..*L*): So, when I happened to look back at my blog, the statistics page told me that THIS POST was my 1,000th post at "Roberta's Random Ramblings ... Art ... Assemblages ... and Stuff ..."   A,000 ramblings of mine recorded online... Mindblowing, eh?! *lol*
